Our commitment
We want NextGen Neighbor to be usable by as many people as possible and aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA where practical. This is an evolving prototype and some areas are still being improved.
What we've done
Visible keyboard focus indicators, aria-labels on icon-only controls, accessible status messaging (aria-live), and consideration for reduced-motion preferences.
Known limitations
The map and plot-plan drawing canvases are inherently visual; equivalent non-visual workflows are limited. We're working to improve color contrast options and a color-blind-safe boundary palette.
